Publishing Stories of Underrepresented Voices
We are living in transformative times. People are finding ways to make their voices heard, and some are learning they are activists, when they never thought of themselves that way before.
Something happened and made people want to get involved in transforming their organization, neighborhood, community, state, or country. They decided to speak up for something they care about and did so through words, images, or actions. It might have been the first time they spoke out about an issue in order to make a change or they might have centered their entire career around activism or advocacy. Either way, they made their voice heard and their actions led to change.
The anthology will consist of short stories, poems, essays, and creative nonfiction that captures various journeys regarding activism.
